WrestleMania Expands: Saudi Arabia to Host the Event in 2027
For the first time in its history, WrestleMania, the pinnacle event of professional wrestling, will be held outside of North America. The city of Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia, will host the 2027 edition, as part of the “Riyadh Season” initiative.
Since its launch in 1985, WrestleMania has been limited to North American cities. However, the vision of expanding the event globally, anticipated by Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Chief Creative Officer, will materialize.The official announcement comes shortly after Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, mentioned the arrival of WrestleMania to Saudi Arabia in a live Snapchat video, which has already been deleted.This is an opportunity to demonstrate that WWE is a global brand that reaches all corners of the world and excites fans from all over.

The collaboration between WWE and Saudi Arabia dates back to 2018, with a one billion dollar deal that includes the realization of multiple events in the country for ten years.
