What is a WarGames match?
Survivor Series has evolved since its inception. Previously, it consisted of elimination tag team matches with multiple wrestlers. Since 2022, Survivor Series has featured men’s and women’s WarGames matches contested between two rings surrounded by a giant, roofless steel cage. The match is won by pinfall or submission, and violence is inevitable.
Men’s WarGames Match
This year’s men’s WarGames match features Roman Reigns, along with his cousins Jimmy and Jey Uso, forming an alliance with CM Punk against Paul Heyman’s team. Reigns’ team also includes the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes. Egos will try to coexist for the common good, but Reigns doesn’t rule out a title match against Rhodes or Punk.
The goal is to defeat The Vision, the faction led by Paul Heyman.
