Cam Skattebo responds to criticism after his appearance in WWE
New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo has responded to criticism received after his participation in a WWE sketch at Madison Square Garden on Monday night. Skattebo, who is recovering from an ankle injury, was part of a scripted fight alongside his teammates. Skattebo, who no longer needs a scooter but still wears a boot on his injured right ankle, made it clear that he does not plan to slow down.Skattebo, along with his rookie teammate Abdul Carter and other Giants teammates, faced the Judgment Day (Finn Bálor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio) in the ring at Madison Square Garden, on a night when the legend John Cena made his last appearance on “Raw”. Comedian Andrew Schulz was also part of the fake fight. In a quintessential New York spectacle, Skattebo sat in the front row wearing a New York Rangers t-shirt. Defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris sported a New York Yankees jersey. Carter appeared to have a Giants belt over his shoulder as he threw punches.“Hey, honestly, if you don’t like me having fun while dealing with a difficult time, then just unfollow and move on. I can’t play football and have fun like I have my whole life, so I’m doing things outside the norm trying to find things that make me happy. Enjoy the rest of the week and just don’t talk about me if you have nothing good to say 🫡 The foot was in the air and the boys had my back! 🫡 trust me, I wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize anything, my G!”

“I wasn’t there last night. But you can be sure I was fighting. I was fighting at home, though, telling her to get down and sit down,” said running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. “But Cam is a wild man. Cam is a wild man. So, I mean, everyone knows that. So, he’s going to go out there and do what he does.”
