Real American Freestyle Pays Tribute to Hulk Hogan with WWE

The wrestling world is gearing up for a special event. Real American Freestyle (RAF) has announced a collaboration with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for an emotional tribute to the legendary Hulk Hogan. This video tribute will be broadcast during the inaugural RAF event, scheduled for Saturday. Hogan, recognized for propelling the then World Wrestling Federation (WWF) to fame in the 1980s, passed away on July 24th at the age of 71. The event, which will take place at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, will be broadcast via FOX Nation.

He was very proud.

Chad Bronstein, CEO of RAF
Chad Bronstein, co-founder and CEO of RAF, has highlighted Hogan’s enduring influence on the company. “He has been a great friend, mentor, and business partner,” Bronstein stated. “His voice will be present in this league, which will seek unique ways to honor his legacy.” The relationship between RAF and WWE is cordial, evidenced by WWE’s participation with 10% ownership of Real American Beer, RAF’s main sponsor, also co-founded by Bronstein. American Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle, one of WWE’s most prominent figures in the early 2000s, will participate as a commentator. Bronstein revealed that Hogan suggested Angle’s participation. In addition, former WWE manager Jimmy Hart and former world champion John Layfield will also be present at Saturday’s event. The main event will pit Wyatt Hendrickson against Mostafa Aly Elsayed Gabr Elders from Egypt. Other featured fights include:
  • Bo Nickal vs. Jacob Cardenas
  • Yianni Diakomihalis vs. Bajrang Punia
  • Darrion Caldwell vs. Real Woods
  • Austin Gomez vs. Lance Palmer
In the women’s category, the matches between Kennedy Blades and Alejandra Rivera, and Sarah Hildebrandt against Zeltzin Hernandez will be held.
