Real American Freestyle Pays Tribute to Hulk Hogan in Collaboration with WWE
In a touching gesture, Real American Freestyle (RAF) joins World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for a tribute video to the late commissioner Hulk Hogan. This tribute will be broadcast during RAF’s inaugural event, scheduled for Saturday. Hulk Hogan, a key figure in the expansion of the World Wrestling Federation in the 1980s, passed away on July 24 at the age of 71. The event, which will take place at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, will be broadcast on FOX Nation. Chad Bronstein, co-founder and CEO of RAF, highlighted the importance of Hogan’s influence on the company. Bronstein, in a previous interview, emphasized the pride and closeness that Hogan felt for this new project.The relationship between RAF and WWE is collaborative. Real American Beer, RAF’s main sponsor, has a 10% stake in WWE and was also co-founded by Bronstein. The event will feature the participation of Kurt Angle, Olympic gold medalist and one of the most important WWE stars in the early 2000s, who will provide commentary. Bronstein revealed that Hogan suggested Angle’s participation. In addition, Jimmy Hart, former WWE manager, and John Layfield, former world champion, will also be part of Saturday’s show. The main event will feature Wyatt Hendrickson against Mostafa Aly Elsayed Gabr Elders from Egypt. Other men’s matchups include Bo Nickal vs. Jacob Cardenas; Yianni Diakomihalis vs. Bajrang Punia; Darrion Caldwell vs. Real Woods; and Austin Gomez vs. Lance Palmer.
