RAF Pays Tribute to Hulk Hogan with WWE Support
The wrestling world is gearing up for a special event. Real American Freestyle (RAF) has joined forces with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) for an emotional tribute video to the iconic Hulk Hogan, which will air during its inaugural event this Saturday. Hogan, a key figure in the popularization of the then World Wrestling Federation in the 1980s, passed away on July 24th at the age of 71. The event, which will be held at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, will be broadcast via FOX Nation. A few months ago, Hogan shared his enthusiasm with The Associated Press about RAF, his new company co-founded with Chad Bronstein.RAF and WWE maintain a cordial relationship. Real American Beer, RAF’s main sponsor, is 10% owned by WWE and was also co-founded by Bronstein.I was very proud. He was a great friend, mentor, and business partner. His voice will be very present, and this league will find unique ways to integrate it.

Kurt Angle, American Olympic gold medalist and one of WWE’s biggest stars in the early 2000s, will be in charge of the commentary. Bronstein revealed that it was Hogan who suggested Angle’s participation. Former WWE manager Jimmy Hart and former world champion John Layfield will also be part of Saturday’s event. The main event will pit Wyatt Hendrickson against Mostafa Aly Elsayed Gabr Elders, from Egypt. Other men’s matches include Bo Nickal vs. Jacob Cardenas; Yianni Diakomihalis vs. Bajrang Punia; Darrion Caldwell vs. Real Woods; and Austin Gomez vs. Lance Palmer. In the women’s category, the matchups between Kennedy Blades and Alejandra Rivera, and Sarah Hildebrandt against Zeltzin Hernandez were scheduled. We don’t compete with them. They provide us with a lot of support. There is no competition, as they are two totally different groups. The same goes for the UFC: we are not competition.
