Cam Skattebo, a running back for the New York Giants, has responded to criticism following his participation in a WWE event at Madison Square Garden. The young player, who is recovering from an ankle injury, was part of a staged fight during the “Raw” event on Monday night. This action generated diverse opinions, but Skattebo has made it clear that he will continue to enjoy his free time.
Skattebo, along with his teammate Abdul Carter and other Giants players, got involved in a brawl with the Judgment Day group (Finn Bálor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio) at the event where John Cena made his last appearance on “Raw”. In the New York show, Skattebo was seen with a New York Rangers jersey, while defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris wore one from the New York Yankees. Carter, for his part, seemed to have a Giants belt over his shoulder. Skattebo, who recently stopped using a scooter, was in the center of the action, facing McDonagh and starting the altercation with a push. The appearance on “Raw” was the closing of a few hectic days for Skattebo, who was also present at UFC 322 on the weekend, also at Madison Square Garden. His teammates have shown their support, highlighting his personality. “Cam is crazy,” said left tackle Andrew Thomas. Tyrone Tracy Jr. also commented on the situation. “Cam is a wild man. Everyone knows it. He’s going to go out and do what he does.”“If you don’t like me having fun in a difficult moment, just unfollow me and move on. I can’t play football and have fun like I have all my life, so I’m doing things outside the ordinary to keep myself happy.”
