Dinner and Lesnar: An Expected Reunion
With his WWE career nearing its end, Cena made a final appearance at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, where he was an American football player in the late 90s.
The 17-time world champion gave an emotional speech, highlighting that avoiding a match against Brock Lesnar would have been the safe option, but as a true champion, he had to overcome fear and face “The Beast” at Wrestlepalooza Indianapolis.
It’s been more than 10 years since the last singles match between Lesnar and Cena, with Lesnar leading the record with four wins in six matches.
