Brock Lesnar Identified in Lawsuit Against WWE

Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, has officially identified Brock Lesnar in the federal lawsuit filed against the company and former executive Vince McMahon in January 2024.

In an amended complaint filed Friday in U.S. District Court, Grant points to Lesnar as the individual McMahon allegedly offered to have sex with in 2021. The original complaint mentioned a star wrestler in the accusation, but did not provide Lesnar’s name.

Lesnar is not included as a defendant in the lawsuit.

As expected, the amended complaint is nothing more than the latest publicity stunt in an ongoing smear campaign. It is filled with desperate falsehoods from a team that continues to ignore the law and the truth.

Jessica Rosenberg, McMahon’s attorney

Grant, who worked in the company’s legal and talent departments, alleges that McMahon forced her to have a sexual relationship to keep her job. She claims that McMahon demanded that she create “personalized sexual content” for Lesnar in July 2021, at a time when McMahon was trying to keep Lesnar under contract with WWE. In addition, she alleges that McMahon brought Lesnar to Connecticut in 2021 for a sexual encounter, which ultimately did not happen.

The amended complaint also alleges that McMahon required Grant to create “custom pornographic content” for producer Michael Hayes.

McMahon, who resigned as WWE CEO in 2022 amid investigations coinciding with those of the lawsuit, has denied the allegations. Lesnar and Hayes have not publicly commented on the amended lawsuit.

Grant is seeking unspecified financial compensation. Lesnar, who also fought in the UFC primarily from 2008 to 2011, has not made an appearance in WWE since 2023.
