Los Angeles Sparks announce ambitious sports infrastructure project. Los Angeles Sparks have revealed their plans for the construction of a state-of-the-art training facility. This project, valued at $150 million, will span 55,000 square feet and is expected to open its doors in 2027 in El Segundo, California. This project represents the largest investment made by a single team in the history of women’s sports, a clear indicator of the franchise’s commitment to the development and well-being of its players.

The Sparks’ new training facility will feature the WNBA’s first indoor-outdoor “player sanctuary,” including an outdoor spa pool, rest rooms, and wellness spaces. In addition, it will have two regulation courts, a circular locker room, and a state-of-the-art weight room and training areas.
