ARLINGTON, Texas – Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers will miss her third straight game due to a concussion. The Los Angeles Sparks will visit on Friday night.
Bueckers, the number 1 draft pick this year from UConn, entered the WNBA concussion protocol after a loss in Chicago on May 29. The Wings reported that she would miss at least two games, without specifying how Bueckers suffered the concussion.
Bueckers has already missed a home game against the Sky and a game in Seattle. Dallas is in last place in the WNBA with a 1-7 record. The three-time Associated Press All-American has averaged 14.7 points, 6.7 assists, and 2.0 steals, playing almost 34 minutes per game.
