Unrivaled: Women’s 3×3 Basketball League Comes to Philadelphia

The innovative women’s 3×3 basketball league, led by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, announces an exciting stop in Philadelphia for its second season. The event, scheduled for January 30, 2026 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena, home of the NBA’s 76ers and the NHL’s Flyers, will feature matchups between four teams under the league’s standard format. The details of the participating teams will be revealed in November, when Unrivaled publishes the full schedule. This stop will mark the first professional women’s basketball games in Philadelphia since 1998.

This revolutionary league is destined to elevate the entire women’s basketball ecosystem, and we are honored that Philadelphia has been chosen as its first stop.

The main headquarters of Unrivaled will remain the Wayfair Arena in Miami, where the inaugural season matches were played, which concluded in March. The initiative is part of Unrivaled’s strategy to ensure long-term sustainability, driven in part by its fan engagement strategies. The league has announced the expansion from six to eight teams and has secured greater investment, raising its valuation to $340 million before its second season. Numerous WNBA stars have confirmed their participation in the second season, including Collier, Stewart, three-time Olympic gold medalist Brittney Griner, and Phoenix Mercury star Alyssa Thomas. Among the new additions for this season are Paige Bueckers, WNBA Rookie of the Year 2025, Olympic gold medalist and WNBA champion Kelsey Plum, and Washington Mystics standout rookie Sonia Citron. The league reported that 46 of the 48 roster spots are already filled, which has generated anticipation among fans about which stars will complete the cast. Social media has been the scene of speculation, with much attention focused on Caitlin Clark, guard for the Indiana Fever, who did not participate in the inaugural season, and Angel Reese, forward for the Chicago Sky, who helped Rose BC win the league’s first championship. Neither of them has officially confirmed their participation.

We are in productive negotiations with some players who need a little more time, and we are committed to giving our athletes the space to make important decisions on their own terms. We still have two spots on the roster and are eager to announce who will fill them soon.
