Sex Toy Interrupts WNBA Game for Third Time

A new incident involving a sex toy interrupted a WNBA game this Tuesday, marking the third such occurrence in just one week. The object was thrown onto the court during the game between the Indiana Fever and the Los Angeles Sparks at the Crypto.com Arena, interrupting the game in the second quarter, specifically during a free throw. This is the third similar event affecting WNBA games, with the previous two occurring last week. The first incident took place in the game between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream, while the second occurred during the game between the Valkyries and the Chicago Sky. The man allegedly responsible for the first incident, Delbert Carver, was arrested on Saturday. He faces charges of disorderly conduct, indecent exposure, and trespassing.

The safety and well-being of everyone in our stadiums is a priority for our league. Objects of any kind thrown onto the court or seating area can pose a risk to the safety of players, game officials, and fans.

WNBA Statement
The league has established that any fan who intentionally throws an object onto the court will be immediately ejected and face a minimum ban of one year, in addition to being subject to arrest and prosecution by local authorities. The game on Tuesday resumed shortly after the object was removed from the court.
