Atlanta Dream star Rhyne Howard tied the WNBA record for most three-pointers made in a single game, with a total of nine three-pointers this Friday. Howard became the first player in league history to achieve this feat more than once. Howard finished the game with 37 points, leading the Dream to a victory over the Los Angeles Sparks with a score of 104-85. This triumph secured Atlanta the home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The outstanding player had an impressive shooting percentage, with 13 of 26 field goals, including 9 of 17 from the three-point line. She had already achieved the same number of three-pointers on June 13th, in a game against the Chicago Sky.Howard’s performance has been fundamental to the team, and his impact is reflected in the Dream’s ranking, who are looking to secure a prominent position in the playoffs. The Atlanta team achieved a total of 19 three-pointers in the game, tying the regular season record of the New York Liberty. Howard, despite missing 11 games due to injury this season, has accumulated 97 three-pointers.
