Attention basketball fanatics! The stars of the Indiana Fever will gather at the WNBA All-Star Game to be played in Indianapolis on July 19. The teams, selected by captains Caitlin Clark of the Fever and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx, are already defined. Clark and Collier, the players most voted for by the fans, first chose the remaining eight starters and then completed their teams with 12 reserves. In addition, there was an exchange of coaches. Initially, Cheryl Reeve, coach of Minnesota, was going to lead Clark’s team, but because Reeve is Collier’s coach on the Lynx, the captains decided to change coaches.

Clark selected her Fever teammates available: Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell. The rest of Clark’s starting lineup includes Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson, and Satou Sabally. Clark’s team’s reserves are led by Mitchell, Gabby Williams, Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen, Jackie Young, and Kayla Thornton. Collier chose Breanna Stewart for her team. The other starters on Collier’s team are Allisha Gray, Nneka Ogwumike, and Paige Bueckers. The Collier team’s reserves are Courtney Williams, Skylar Diggins, Angel Reese, Alyssa Thomas, Kelsey Plum, and Rhyne Howard. There were conversations about possible player trades, but they did not materialize. Clark offered Sabally for Stewart, but Collier countered by asking Clark to give up Boston for Stewart, which did not materialize. The three-point contest and the Skills Challenge will take place on Friday, July 18. The All-Star Game will be on July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Fever.
