The basketball star, Caitlin Clark, is preparing for her return to action, but this time on the golf course. After a season marked by injuries in the WNBA, Clark will participate in next month’s pro-am at The Annika, an LPGA Tour event.

I had an incredible time at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game.

The pro-am, scheduled for November 12 at the Pelican Golf Club, will be open to the public. Last year, Clark generated great excitement and attracted a considerable crowd, right after her first season in the WNBA, where she was named Rookie of the Year. The Annika is the penultimate tournament on the LPGA schedule. Clark maintains a corporate relationship with Gainbridge Insurance, the main sponsor. The second season of Clark in the WNBA was affected by injuries, playing only 13 games. She was ruled out for the rest of the season on September 4 due to a groin injury. Despite this, Clark’s team, the Indiana Fever, managed to reach the playoffs, but was eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals.
