Paige Bueckers Suffers Muscle Injury, “Day-to-Day” Report

Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers revealed on Tuesday night that she suspects she suffered a muscle strain in her back, and her status will be evaluated “day by day”. Bueckers, who was the first pick in the draft, left Tuesday’s game against the New York Liberty with 2:37 remaining in the third quarter due to a back injury. Afterwards, she went to the locker room. According to the player, she stretched and received treatment with a massage gun before returning to the bench at the beginning of the last quarter, where she played the rest of the game. She finished the match with 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists, in a game that the Wings lost 85-76.

I was dribbling the ball and felt a strain. It’s day-to-day. I hope it doesn’t keep me out. I just need treatment and rest.
