Thomas accumulated 12 points, 16 rebounds, and 15 assists, marking her seventh triple-double of the season, a new record in the WNBA. This achievement not only surpassed her own record of six triple-doubles set in 2023, but also solidified her name in the history books of women’s basketball. The player secured her 18th triple-double of her career with 2:50 left in the game, once again demonstrating her versatility and dominance on the court.In addition to her impressive triple-double, Thomas became the first player in WNBA history to record at least 10 points, 15 rebounds, and 15 assists in the same game. She is also the first in WNBA or NBA history to achieve at least 12 rebounds and 15 assists in consecutive games. Despite battling an illness, Thomas once again demonstrated his tenacity and commitment to the team. In the first half, Thomas only scored one point, but accumulated 10 assists and seven rebounds. In August, she achieved her sixth triple-double, far surpassing any other player in WNBA history in a single month.I think this has been my game throughout my career.
