In a historic night for the WNBA, Alyssa Thomas shone with an exceptional performance, achieving her third consecutive triple-double and leading the Phoenix Mercury to a resounding victory over the Indiana Fever.

Thomas accumulated 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, setting an unprecedented record in the league. No other player in WNBA history has achieved this feat consecutively. The player secured her 19th triple-double of her career, a figure that far surpasses any other player in the league.

Caitlin Clark missed her ninth consecutive game due to a groin injury. The Mercury went on a 14-0 run in the third quarter, extending their lead to 23 points. Indiana struggled in the third quarter, scoring only 11 points. The regular season series is tied 1-1, with the last game scheduled for September 2nd in Phoenix.
