Las Vegas is dressed as champion! The Aces celebrated their third championship in four years with an unforgettable parade down the famous Strip. Eight years after the WNBA and the NBA Board of Governors confirmed the relocation of the San Antonio Stars to Las Vegas, the city vibrated with the joy of its women’s team.
The parade, led by classic low-rider cars, went down the iconic Las Vegas Boulevard. Five double-decker buses transported the Aces, who threw streamers and confetti at an euphoric crowd. The victory came after a complicated start to the season (14-14), and a demanding playoff series, culminating in a sweep over the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA final. The Toshiba Plaza was filled with fans of all ages, celebrating the fourth professional championship since 2022, with the Aces winning three and the NHL’s Golden Knights winning the Stanley Cup in 2023.We’re back! Las Vegas, we are world champions.
