Yastremska to Nottingham Final: Ukrainian Seeks WTA Grass Title

NOTTINGHAM – Dayana Yastremska, the Ukrainian tennis player, has made history by becoming the first player from her country to reach a WTA Tour grass court final in 17 years. This achievement came after defeating Poland’s Magda Linette with a score of 6-4 and 6-4 at the Nottingham Open on Saturday. Yastremska will seek her first WTA title since 2019. Her next challenge will be to face American McCartney Kessler on Sunday.
