Tsitsipas and Goran Ivanisevic End Their Collaboration
Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas has ended his collaboration with coach Goran Ivanisevic, as announced by the player himself. The news comes after less than two months of working together. Through a post on his Instagram story, Tsitsipas expressed his gratitude:The tennis player, runner-up at the French Open in 2021 and the Australian Open in 2023, was forced to withdraw from his first-round match at Wimbledon in June due to a back injury. Ivanisevic, for his part, after Tsitsipas’s defeat at Wimbledon, made a critical assessment of the Greek tennis player. Tsitsipas also expressed his respect for Ivanisevic, both for his achievements in tennis and as a person, wishing him the best in the future. Ivanisevic, who won Wimbledon as a player in 2001, previously collaborated with Novak Djokovic, helping him achieve nine of his 24 Grand Slam titles.Working with Goran Ivanisevic was a brief but intense experience and a truly valuable chapter in my journey. I thank him for the time, effort, and energy he dedicated to me and my team.
