PARIS – Austrian tennis player Lilli Tagger won the girls’ title at Roland Garros, demonstrating absolute dominance by not dropping a single set throughout the tournament. In her first participation in the Roland Garros junior tournament, the 17-year-old, Tagger, defeated the eighth seed, Hannah Klugman of Great Britain, in the final with a resounding score of 6-2 and 6-0. Tagger, demonstrating great solidity in his game, managed to save the five break points he faced and connected a total of 19 winning shots.

This triumph marks a milestone for Austrian tennis, as Tagger becomes the first Austrian player to win a junior singles title at the French Open.

His previous best performance in a Grand Slam tournament was reaching the quarterfinals at the Australian Open this year.
