With a score of 6-1 and 6-3, Swiatek secured her place in the final and remains firm in her quest for her first title on grass. Swiatek will face American Jessica Pegula, who had a tough match against Linda Noskova, whom she defeated with scores of 6-7(2), 7-5 and 6-1. With Wimbledon just around the corner, Swiatek, former world number one, has shown a great level on this surface, defeating the Italian Paolini, Wimbledon finalist last year.Swiatek leads the head-to-head matchups against Paolini with a score of 5-0. The Polish tennis player, with four French Open titles and one US Open title, decided not to participate in other grass court tournaments this season before Wimbledon, opting for a week of training in Mallorca.I am very happy and did not expect this. I simply did my job and knew what I wanted to play and went for it.

In the first set, Swiatek had no problems and won it in 29 minutes thanks to three breaks. Although there were exchanges of breaks at the beginning of the second set, Paolini continued to fight to hold her serve, while the Polish player was aggressive, achieving a 4-2 lead.
Swiatek sealed the victory with a winning forehand on her third match point, securing her place in the final against Pegula. Pegula had to work hard to come back from a set down and defeat the talented 20-year-old Czech tennis player, Noskova, who was close to victory.Pegula commented on Swiatek, her opponent in the final: “When she’s at her best, she’s really good. That’s why she’s a champion and was number one. I hit quite low and flat and that, hopefully, could disrupt the rhythm.”She was serving really well and I couldn’t read it. Then I was able to start reading it. I’m happy I was able to get back into the match.
