With this victory, Swiatek joins Aryna Sabalenka in the quarterfinals of all four Grand Slams this year, a feat not seen since 2005, when Lindsey Davenport and Maria Sharapova achieved it. In her next challenge, Swiatek will face Amanda Anisimova, whom she defeated in the Wimbledon final. Additionally, Naomi Osaka achieved a dominant victory over Coco Gauff with a score of 6-3, 6-2 in an anticipated match at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
