Sloane Stephens and Jozy Altidore: End of an Era
American tennis player Sloane Stephens, US Open champion, and former US men’s national soccer team player Jozy Altidore have decided to end their marriage after four years. Stephens, who was crowned at the 2017 US Open, shared the news via an Instagram story on Saturday.Stephens, 32, was also a runner-up at the 2018 Roland Garros. Altidore, 36, scored 42 goals in 115 appearances for the United States national soccer team between 2007 and 2019, and had a long professional career both in Major League Soccer and abroad.“Jozy and I have decided to end our marriage,” the post read. “With peace, I am navigating this transition with mutual respect and kindly ask for privacy during this time. Thank you for your love, understanding, and continued support.”
