Jannik Sinner Advances to Wimbledon Semifinals Despite Injury

Jannik Sinner demonstrated remarkable resilience by overcoming American Ben Shelton in the Wimbledon quarterfinals. Despite playing with a right elbow injury, Sinner exhibited a formidable serve and his characteristic forehand to secure the victory with scores of 7-6 (2), 6-4, 6-4. The Italian tennis player, currently number one in the world, wore a white sleeve on his right arm with visible bandages, the result of a fall suffered in his fourth-round match against Grigor Dimitrov. Prior to the match against Shelton, Sinner underwent an MRI and, although he initially canceled a practice session, he did some short training sessions.

When you’re in a match with a lot of tension, you try not to think about it. It has improved a lot from yesterday to today.
