Sinner and Bocelli: The Tennis Player Debuted with the Tenor in a Musical Success
The world’s number one tennis player, Jannik Sinner, has ventured into the world of music, collaborating with the renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli on the release of a single.

An Unexpected Collaboration

The song, titled “Polvere e Gloria” (Dust and Glory), features Sinner performing some spoken lines, complementing Bocelli’s operatic notes.

I am very happy and honored to be part of this project with Andrea, who for 30 years has been a unique and extraordinary voice, a flag for our country in the rest of the world. I would never have imagined hearing my voice in one of his songs. It is extremely moving.

The song includes lyrics in English and Italian, and the accompanying music video shows images of Sinner and Bocelli’s childhood. They are also seen interacting around a piano in a house in the Italian countryside. Bocelli described the collaboration as a “bold leap” that ignited his passion, born from a shared desire to express his belief that nothing is impossible. This is not the first time Bocelli has been associated with the world of sports. Previously, he sang “Nessun Dorma” as part of the Leicester City celebrations after their surprising Premier League triumph in 2016. The tennis player was defeated by Alexander Bublik in the round of 16 of the Halle Open in Germany on Thursday.
