Rybakina Conquers Ningbo Open and Secures Tenth WTA Title

NINGBO, China – Elena Rybakina showed her power by coming back from a set down and defeating Ekaterina Alexandrova in the final of the Ningbo Open. The final score was 3-6, 6-0, 6-2, which gave Rybakina her tenth WTA title. The tennis player, seeded number three, had a shaky start, losing the first set 6-3. However, in the following sets, Rybakina recovered with authority, dominating her opponent and securing the victory.

I want to thank my team for always pushing me to be better. Especially at the end of the season, it’s not easy, but without you I wouldn’t be here.

This triumph represents Rybakina’s second title so far this year. The outstanding performance of the Kazakh player in this final stage of the season keeps her in the fight for a place in the WTA Finals to be held in Riyadh in November. For Alexandrova, this is her third consecutive loss in a WTA 500 final.

I want to congratulate Ekaterina on a great week and a great season so far.
