Rybakina Conquers Ningbo Open After Epic Comeback
NINGBO, China – Elena Rybakina showcased her power by coming back from a set down to defeat Ekaterina Alexandrova in the Ningbo Open final. The final score was 3-6, 6-0, and 6-2, thus securing her tenth WTA title. The tennis player, seeded number three, had a hesitant start, falling behind her Russian opponent 4-1 in the first set. However, Rybakina reacted strongly, dominating the game and winning nine consecutive games. In the process, she connected 11 aces, showing her superiority on the court.This triumph represents Rybakina’s second title so far this year. This performance keeps her in the fight for a place in the WTA Finals, which will be held in Riyadh in November. For Alexandrova, this was her third consecutive loss in a WTA 500 final.I thank my team for always pushing me to be better.
