Italy, the current two-time champion, secured its place in the Davis Cup final thanks to the outstanding performance of Flavio Cobolli. Cobolli defeated Zizou Bergs of Belgium with a score of 6-3, 6-7 (5), 7-6 (15) in a dramatic semifinal match. The Italian tennis player achieved victory after saving seven match points, demonstrating remarkable resilience. After squandering six opportunities to close out the match, Cobolli finally secured the victory for Italy. The celebration included taking off his shirt and sharing the joy with his teammates. The tiebreaker of the final set, with a score of 17-15, became the sixth longest in Davis Cup history.
