Harrison and Skupski win the men’s doubles title at the Australian Open
American Christian Harrison and Brit Neal Skupski won the men’s doubles final of the Australian Open on Saturday.
Harrison sealed the triumph with an ace at the decisive point, securing the victory alongside Skupski with a score of 7-6 (4), 6-4 over the Australian pair formed by Jason Kubler and Marc Polmans.
Kubler arrived at the match with an impressive 14-3 doubles record in his home tournament.
Harrison and Skupski, who competed in the ATP Finals last year with different partners, joined forces for the first time in Adelaide earlier this month, where they reached the semifinals.
