Taylor Fritz Successfully Starts the Season on North American Hard Court
American tennis player Taylor Fritz, the number one seed, started his North American hard court season on the right foot. He achieved a solid victory at the DC Open this Wednesday.
Fritz demonstrated his dominance with 11 aces and saving the only break point he faced, securing a victory with a score of 6-3, 6-2 over Aleksandar Vukic.

After being exempt in the first round, Fritz will face Matteo Arnaldi in the third round, who eliminated Lorenzo Sonego with a score of 7-5, 7-5.
Other seeded players who advanced in the tournament include Alex De Minaur (7), Daniil Medvedev (8), and Jiri Lehecka (11).
On the other hand, Alexei Popyrin (10) was defeated by qualifier Wu Yibing with a score of 7-5, 5-7, 6-3.
