Alex de Minaur, from Australia, had brought Team World to within one point of the title, after defeating Jakub Mensik 6-3, 6-4. The 26-year-old tennis player contributed seven points to his team over the weekend, including victories over Zverev and in doubles alongside Alex Michelsen on Saturday.
