Drake, known for his high-stakes sports bets, has invested $300,000 in Sinner’s victory in the prestigious tournament. The “Drake Curse” has been mentioned in the past for some significant losses, including a $210,000 bet in favor of Taylor Fritz in the 2024 US Open final, where he faced Sinner. However, according to betting records, Drake has managed to reduce his losses thanks to his choice of Sinner as the winner at the Australian Open in January. Sinner is currently in the quarter-finals of the tournament, after defeating Alexander Bublik in the previous round. His next match will be against the Italian Lorenzo Musetti. Sinner is the favorite to defend his title at Flushing Meadows, with odds of -130, followed by Carlos Alcaraz with +145.
