CINCINNATI – Monday’s play at the Cincinnati Open was interrupted for more than an hour due to a power outage that affected the third round.

The suspension of the game began at 5:25 p.m., shortly after Taylor Fritz won the first set on center court, with a score of 7-6(4) against Lorenzo Sonego.

Simultaneously, Stefanos Tsitsipas was leading Benjamin Bonzi 7-6(4), 2-5 on court 3.

The game resumed around 6:40 p.m.

Jannik Sinner, the defending champion, was scheduled to play later that night against Canadian Gabriel Diallo.
