Cincinnati Open: Tournament Halted by Power Outage, Fritz and Tsitsipas Affected

CINCINNATI – Activity at the Cincinnati Open was interrupted this Monday by a power failure that lasted just over an hour.

The stoppage began at 5:25 p.m., right after Taylor Fritz won the first set on center court with a score of 7-6(4) against Lorenzo Sonego.

On court 3, Stefanos Tsitsipas was leading Benjamin Bonzi with a score of 7-6(4), 2-5.

The game resumed around 6:40 p.m.

Jannik Sinner, the defending champion, was scheduled to play later that night against Canadian Gabriel Diallo.
