Zirkzee Accepts the Competition: “It’s All for the Team”
Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee has expressed his tranquility regarding the possible arrival of another attacker to the team this summer. The Dutch player, who scored three goals in his first season in the Premier League after his signing for 36.5 million pounds, is positive about the competition. Zirkzee, despite not having had a first season with many goals, is not worried about the possible arrival of new attacking players. “I think it’s part of being at this club,” he commented. “If another striker comes, I think there will only be good competition, so I’m not really worried.”The forward has had an up-and-down season at United. He was booed by some fans after being substituted in the 2-0 defeat to Newcastle in December. However, he also scored the winning penalty in an FA Cup penalty shootout against Arsenal in January.Everything is for the team, there is no selfishness here, that is not my philosophy. If it helps the team, then great.
Joshua Zirkzee
