The arrival of Doyle represents another important signing for Wrexham, who have already broken their transfer record this summer by signing striker Nathan Broadhead for a figure that could reach 10 million pounds sterling (13.4 million dollars). In addition, former England defender Conor Coady has also joined the team from Leicester City for £2 million ($2.7 million).

Statement
Wrexham, which achieved three consecutive promotions under the ownership of Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Mac, has started its Championship campaign with two consecutive defeats against Southampton and West Bromwich Albion. Doyle has experience in the Championship, having been on loan at Coventry, Leicester and Norwich. “We are delighted to welcome Callum to the club,” said Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson. “He is a young, talented player with a lot of experience in the Championship.” Doyle has been called up in several England youth categories and has played five times for the under-21 team.
