Wrexham Kicks Off Its Season in the Championship with a Challenge
Wrexham, owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, will begin its campaign in the Championship, the second division of English football, facing Southampton away. This match marks the start of a pivotal season for the team, which seeks to establish itself in this league after achieving three consecutive promotions.
The initial schedule presents considerable challenges, including matches against Millwall, Sheffield Wednesday, and West Bromwich Albion in the first five matchdays.

Southampton will start the season under the direction of their new coach, Will Still, 32 years old, who will have to face matches against Ipswich and Watford after receiving Wrexham at the start of their season in English football.
The first south coast derby between Southampton and Portsmouth will be played on September 13th at St. Mary’s, with the return match scheduled for January 24th at Fratton Park.
