Nuno Espirito Santo: “We have a problem” after West Ham defeat

West Ham United coach Nuno Espirito Santo expressed his concern after his team’s 2-0 defeat to Brentford. The match, which coincided with a protest by fans against the club’s management, showed a poor performance by the Hammers. Igor Thiago and Mathias Jensen’s goals secured Brentford’s victory, who dominated the match with 22 shots on goal, compared to West Ham’s 7. The first goal came after a defensive error that allowed Kevin Schade to assist Thiago. Thiago’s second goal was disallowed for offside, but Jensen finally sealed the victory in stoppage time.

“It’s not good enough. Poor,” declared Nuno, acknowledging Brentford’s superiority. “I think we are all worried. Our own fans are worried. Worry becomes anxiety, becomes silence. We have a problem.”
