The United States women’s national soccer team will face New Zealand on October 29 in Kansas City, Missouri, according to an announcement by the United States Soccer Federation.
This will be the third and last match of the October international window.
Previously, the USWNT will play two matches against Portugal. The first will be played at Subaru Stadium in Chester, Pennsylvania, on October 23, and will feature a farewell ceremony for USWNT legend Alex Morgan before the start of the match.
The second match against Portugal will take place three days later at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field, in East Hartford, Connecticut.
The CPKC Stadium in Kansas City will be the venue for the match against New Zealand, which will also include a double match with the United States men’s national deaf soccer team.
In addition, Alyssa Naeher, former US international and current goalkeeper for the Chicago Stars, will also be honored in her home state with a special ceremony before the match.
New Zealand is ranked number 33 in the world ranking.
