Tuchel Apologizes for Comments About Bellingham
Coach Thomas Tuchel has apologized for his comments about Jude Bellingham’s behavior, describing it as “repulsive” in a radio interview after an England match in June. After England’s defeat to Senegal, Tuchel spoke about the “intensity” and “fire” that Bellingham shows in his game.England hasn’t played since then, but Tuchel addressed the issue on Friday when announcing the squad for next month’s World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia, matches for which Bellingham is injured.“If he smiles, he conquers everyone, but sometimes you see the rage, the hunger and the fire, and it comes out in a way that can be a bit repulsive”.
