LEVERKUSEN, Germany – Bayer Leverkusen forward Malik Tillman will be out for two more weeks after returning from his international commitments with the United States, due to a thigh injury.
The Bundesliga club announced on Sunday that an examination carried out in Leverkusen determined the full extent of the injury and the recovery period.
Tillman, 23, felt a pull in his thigh while training with the U.S. national team last Monday, which prevented him from participating in the friendly victory over Australia and in Leverkusen’s 4-3 victory over Mainz in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
