Sesko dreams of emulating Zlatan at Manchester United

The new Manchester United signing, Benjamin Sesko, has expressed his desire to emulate his idol, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, during his time at Old Trafford. The Slovenian international striker, Sesko, completed his transfer to Manchester United from RB Leipzig on Saturday, in a deal valued at 85 million euros. Ibrahimovic, during his almost two-year stay at Old Trafford, scored 29 goals and registered 10 assists in 53 appearances across all competitions.

“Since I was a kid, I’ve been watching him. Every video I can find on YouTube because it’s incredible for me,” Sesko told MUTV.

Sesko added that, although they do not share the same character, he admires his playing style and how he enjoys football. He revealed that his dream is to meet him someday, as Ibrahimovic is his idol.

Sesko also expressed his admiration for other United forwards, such as Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney. Sesko scored 21 goals in 45 matches for Leipzig last season. The player is convinced that better times are coming for United, joining the new summer signings. The forward has expressed his enthusiasm for joining the Manchester United project, highlighting the team’s potential and the excitement of growing together. Sesko hopes the team improves, connects, and grows together step by step. He believes it’s a matter of time before the team reaches new heights.
