Florentino Pérez Reveals Details of the “Infinite Bernabéu” Project

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has shared new details about the club’s ambitious virtual reality project, called “Bernabéu Infinito”. In collaboration with Apple, this initiative promises to revolutionize the experience of football fans. According to Pérez, this alliance “will be like opening the stadium doors to the whole planet.” The project seeks to offer fans the possibility of experiencing the excitement of the stadium from anywhere in the world. During the UEFA Champions League match against Juventus, which Real Madrid won 1-0, more than 30 special cameras were used to capture images. The filmed material will be used in a documentary that will be released next year for Apple’s Vision Pro virtual reality viewer. This innovative proposal will allow fans to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Bernabéu as if they were present in the stadium. The cameras were located in various areas of the stadium, including the tunnel, the edge of the field, the press room, and the conference room.

“It’s a project I’ve pursued for many years: to allow any fan to experience the emotion of the Bernabéu as if they were right here in the stadium,” said Pérez.

Pérez highlighted that the main objective of the project is not to increase revenue, but to offer fans a unique experience. “What’s really special is offering one billion Real Madrid fans, around the world, the experience they want to have,” he stated.
Real Madrid hosted the Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins this past Sunday.
The “Bernabéu Infinito” project promises to transform the way fans interact with Real Madrid, marking a before and after in the world of sports.
