Real Madrid Defeats PSG in the Women’s Champions League

The Parisian-born footballer Naomie Feller scored a crucial goal to secure Real Madrid’s victory over Paris Saint-Germain with a score of 2-1 in the Champions League. This triumph represents the second victory for the Madrid team in the competition, while PSG adds its fourth consecutive defeat. Feller, taking advantage of a cross from Yasmim, scored in the 29th minute, in Madrid’s first shot on goal. Alba Redondo extended the lead just before halftime by converting a rebound. Redondo has accumulated three goals in two Champions League matches this season and six in eight matches in her career. Rasheedat Ajibade scored for PSG in the 58th minute, but Madrid managed to maintain their lead and secure their first victory against a French team in UWCL history. With this result, Real Madrid joins the group of outstanding teams such as Barcelona, Manchester United, Wolfsburg and Lyonnes, who have won their first two matches in the group stage. The PSG, despite having made 33 shots in their first two matches, has only scored one goal and is outside the top twelve places that qualify for the knockout phase.

Bayern Munich Prevails Over Juventus After a Dramatic Finale

In another UWCL match, Bayern Munich achieved a 2-1 victory over Juventus, after a long video review that confirmed the winning goal in stoppage time. Despite the disbelief of the Juventus players, the review showed that Lea Schüller’s shot had crossed the goal line, despite Mathilde Harviken’s desperate attempt to clear the ball. Pernille Harder had put Bayern ahead in the 11th minute, but Juventus midfielder Eva Schatzer equalized six minutes later.
