Ratcliffe misses Man Utd Women's FA Cup final, again

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a minority shareholder in Manchester United, did not attend the Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley, missing the match for the second year in a row.

Unlike Ratcliffe, co-chairman Avie Glazer, chief executive Omar Berrada and technical director Jason Wilcox were present in the royal box.

Ratcliffe’s absence comes after his failure to attend last season’s match, where the women’s team beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-0. This year, the women’s team faced Chelsea.

Ratcliffe was indeed present at Stamford Bridge for the men’s team’s 1-0 defeat to Chelsea. The match was rescheduled to allow fans to attend both matches, an unprecedented event in the Premier League to accommodate a women’s match.

Ratcliffe’s lack of commitment to the women’s team has drawn criticism.

In contrast, Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit and recent investor in Chelsea Women, was present at Wembley alongside his wife, tennis legend Serena Williams, and their daughter.
