The Brazilian forward Raphinha has welcomed the growing competition in Barcelona’s attack following the arrival of Marcus Rashford. Rashford, who joins the team on loan for a season from Manchester United, joins an already formidable attack that includes Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, and Robert Lewandowski.

When you play with this shirt, with this club, you must be prepared for all the competition that exists.

Raphinha
When asked if Rashford’s arrival implies more competition for playing time, Raphinha stated that competition is beneficial for the team, as it pushes players to improve and is key to winning titles. Barcelona defender Jules Koundé agrees to a new five-year contract. Raphinha believes that last season was the best of his career, although he acknowledges that he still has room for improvement. The Brazilian international scored 34 goals and provided 25 assists in 56 appearances, contributing to Barça’s victory in LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.

I always try to find my best form in training, matches, and the season. I tried that last season, it was better than the previous one, and I will try to make this next season also better than the last.

Raphinha
Raphinha’s performances in Europe were particularly notable, with 13 goals and nine assists in his 14 Champions League matches, where Barça reached the semi-finals. Barcelona hasn’t won the European elite club competition since 2015, and Raphinha aims to lift his first title.

The Champions League is a personal challenge in my career. It is also a goal of the club, to win our sixth Champions League title. I, in particular, will do everything possible to make that happen. And I am sure that the players think the same.

Raphinha
Raphinha, 28 years old, recently extended his contract for one more year, ensuring his stay at Barça until June 2028.

Raphinha afirma que no descarta seguir en el club más allá de 2028.
Raphinha does not rule out the possibility of staying at the club beyond 2028. If the club is happy with me, I will stay here as long as I can. He also added that, if he feels he is not performing at his best or is not contributing enough, it would be time to leave, but for now he feels good, in good physical and tactical shape.
