André Onana in Talks for Possible Loan to Trabzonspor
Goalkeeper André Onana is in talks with Trabzonspor for a possible loan, according to sources close to the situation.
The Turkish club has contacted Manchester United to discuss the terms of the agreement.
Manchester United are willing to listen to offers for Onana after the arrival of Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Antwerp on the last day of the transfer market.
Onana, with a contract at Old Trafford until 2028, has shown interest in staying at the club this summer.
However, the 29-year-old player, who missed the entire pre-season due to a hamstring injury, has had to watch Altay Bayindir start in United’s three Premier League matches so far this season, while Lammens’ arrival will further reduce his chances of playing regularly in the first team.André Onana, Manchester United goalkeeper, could join Trabzonspor on loan.Sources indicate that United is comfortable with the presence of Onana, Bayindir, Lammens and Tom Heaton, 39 years old, in their group of goalkeepers this season.

The transfer window in Turkey will remain open until September 12, which gives Trabzonspor, who finished seventh in the league last season, time to reach an agreement with both United and Onana.
His departure would bring an end to a two-year spell with ups and downs at Old Trafford, after arriving on an initial agreement of £43.8 million ($59.1 million) from Inter Milan in 2023.
